Pie Cabinet

Faced with the perpetual crisis of having too many pies lying around the house, I decided to make a cabinet capable of holding all of them. Glory be, all the mice now have a challenge ahead of them if they want a free snack! Good luck trying to chew through all of that beautiful American black walnut and hand-woven Danish cord.

This version is crafted from solid American black walnut with hand-woven Danish cord, cherry shelves, and pine back slats. Material combinations can be customized to suit the piece. Maple paired with black Danish cord would make for a striking variation, while aromatic cedar back slats would add warmth and fragrance. Just some ideas!
