Joined to gather, work, rest, create, and care.

Furniture making grew out of a lifelong habit of learning how things are built. My training is in fine art, and the two have always felt like the same pursuit. Over time, and especially after becoming a parent, I came to understand that our surroundings are not just a backdrop to daily life. They determine how we gather, work, rest, create, and care for one another. Good furniture quietly helps hold those things together.

Everything here is built by hand using traditional joinery techniques that have lasted for centuries because they work. Purposeful design, solid wood, and honest construction create pieces meant to be used every day and handed down over time. The aim is to make enduring furniture that brings warmth, order, and permanence into any environment.

Designed, sourced, and crafted in North Carolina. Built with traditional joinery and solid hardwoods from local suppliers, each piece is made to endure generations of daily life and grow more beautiful with age.
