Drawing Desk

As a dad, I never want my children to fight. But when both of them are screaming at each other over whose turn it is at the drawing desk, it brings a tear to my eye.

No matter the size of the child or adult using it, this desk adjusts to accommodate just about anyone. At its most compact, with the top laid flat, it sits at a standard desk height of 28". If a backache develops after a long drawing session, it can be raised and used as a standing desk.

This piece is made from maple, but it could be built from almost any suitable hardwood.
