Coffee Table

More storage is both a blessing and a curse. When you already have something that needs a home, everything falls neatly into place. When you create storage without a particular purpose, it will still get filled. Usually with something you should have thrown away.

Instead of finally recycling those old magazines, for example, you now have a handsome place to stack them. This coffee table provides plenty of room for reading material, along with a large drawer for whatever else is best kept close at hand but out of sight. A trap door in the top offers another compartment for objects that benefit from direct access. Theoretically, you could even modify it and turn it into an ice chest for all your Sunday game beers. Although I don’t recommend that for a few reasons. But if its your coffee table, you can do what you want with it!

This coffee table is made of sapele, but could be made of any appropriately beautiful hardwood. Dimensions variable.
